PARTY APES – TEXAS STYLE

This series of shots comes from Austin, TX. Brian DiFrank, proprietor of Whetstone Audiothe best little hi-fi shop in Texas, caught this saucy simian polishing off a potent liquid lunch. You can see a clear progression here:  1) emptying the bottle, 2) contemplating having emptied the bottle, and 3) dealing with the consequences of having emptied the bottle.

CAUTION:  PARTY APES are not tame.

Do not enable them with money, food, drinks, or smokes.

They do not know how or when to quit

PARTY APES STOP TO SMELL THE ROSES

This photo comes to us from Maryann Keleher-Gale who seemingly captured a softer side to these unreconstructed savages.

CAUTION:  PARTY APES are not tame.

Do not enable them with money, food, drinks, or smokes.

They do not know how or when to quit.

PARTY APES ARRIVE ON WEST COAST… BAD AND NATIONWIDE

This photo was sent to us by Los Angeleno Stephen T. Brophy who was nearly mauled at his local grocery store. This excited (m)anthropoid demanded an autographed copy of Brophy’s well-reviewed comic novella, “The Villain’s Sidekick“, while brandishing a piece of low-hanging fruit.

CAUTION:  PARTY APES are not tame.

Do not enable them with money, food, drinks, or smokes.

They do not know how or when to quit.

PARTY APES BEGIN SHAKING DOWN UNSUSPECTING TOURISTS

This photo was sent to us by Jeanne Muller-Johngren who caught this saucy primate shamelessly haranguing unsuspecting Chinatown tourists for party money using the old “pose in a picture for five bucks” routine.

CAUTION:  PARTY APES are not tame.

Do not enable them with money, food, drinks, or smokes.

They do not know how or when to quit.

PARTY APES ARE HERE AND LOOKING FOR LOVE

This photo was sent to us by Lily Rossow-Greenberg who was clearly intrigued by this suavely dressed specimen hanging out on the streets of NYC soliciting passers-by for drinks, smokes, and… you know.

CAUTION:  PARTY APES are not tame.

Do not date them, feed them, buy them drinks, give them smokes, or let them crash on your couch.

They do not know when to quit.

FIRST ACTUAL PARTY APE SIGHTING ON FILM

We were afraid that news of a fresh PARTY APES record would open the square portal that separates our dimensions, and allow these hard-partying beasts to once again walk the earth.

This photo was sent to us by Manhattan’s Scott Ettin who was shocked to see a fully manifested PARTY APE working a corner for change

CAUTION:  PARTY APES are not tame.

Do not feed them, buy them drinks, give them change, or let them crash on your couch.

They do not know when to quit.

CAUTION: PARTY APES ARE BEGINNING TO MANIFEST IN OUR DIMENSION

As soon as we sent the finished PARTY APES mixes to be mastered we were shocked to get the first of multiple reports that PARTY APES were manifesting in this dimension.

This photo was sent to us by Greenpoint’s own Daisy Hoyt who was surprised to learn that sometimes a banana isn’t just a banana.

CAUTION:  PARTY APES are not tame.

Do not feed them, buy them drinks, or let them crash on your couch.

They do not know when to quit.
