legendary grammy award winning bassist for booker t. & the m.g.’s passed away on the morning of may 13, 2012. duck died in his sleep after finishing a double showat the blue note night club in Tokyo the night before.

this is the left hand of theodore roosevelt “hound dog” taylor. if you like raw, vicious slide guitar, do yourself a favor and seek out the music he made for alligator records in the early ’70′s with his band, the houserockers. there’s a nice bio of hound dog here.
